Samhain season is here, a time for many of us to pause and reflect and remember. In Edition One we will be building on the foundation created in Edition Zero, which is especially appropriate for the observation known as the Celtic New Year. Our staff--Cat, Wendy, William, Nualilith, Diana, Olwinn, Agate, and Sappho--has grown by two; Business Editor Barbara and Proofreading Editor Lynda.

We at Baubo cannot stress enough the importance of the American national election on November 2. Whatever your leanings, please stop to read the facts. Don't let smear campaign ads make up your mind for you. What happened in Florida in 2000 is only proof of the importance of one person's vote. Make your vote count. Additionally, keep your eyes open at the polls for anything that seems suspicious or plain wrong. I voted in Florida in 2000 and I saw first hand the chaos that ensued there. Let's all do what we can to prevent a repetition.
